During the first ten years of his practice, Mukesh Advani provided legal representation to major insurance companies in insurance coverage matters, including those involving allegations of “bad faith” or unreasonable claim handling practices. As a result of this experience, Mukesh acquired a great deal of knowledge and understanding about the insurance industry claim handling practices. Mukesh now uses the same knowledge and experience to help policyholders get the benefits to which they are entitled under their policy contracts. Mukesh has represented numerous individual and institutional clients, including municipalities, in insurance coverage disputes with their insurance companies.
In addition to representing policyholders directly, Mukesh also provides his services to other attorneys who may need coverage analysis for the insurance claim made by their clients. Mukesh has also appeared is mediations and settlement conference solely for the purpose of representing a policyholder limited to the insurance coverage issues.
Most recently, Mukesh represented businesses who lost everything in the Paradise fire and obtained for them significant amount of benefits to which they were entitled, including reimbursement for personal and business property and loss of business income.
